The lakes Herons: Taurangas new area 'The Lakes' asked us to create these 5m tall herons which are shown here lit up at night. They are made from special 'corten' steel plate which rusts externally without affecting the structure of the steel. We also supplied all their panneling for the bridges which are finished in a special rust paint. The lakes is a great place to view the quality of workmanship we can supply here at Iron design.
